Welcome to Shin Shin Wellness

MAYBE YOU’RE WONDERING IF…

…You're performing being “fine” rather than actually being fine

…You code-switch so often you've lost track of who you really are

IMAGINE WHAT IT MIGHT BE LIKE TO…

…Trust your embodied reactions without second-guessing them

…Move from occupying your body to belonging in it

There’s no single right way to heal.

What matters is what you're actually experiencing:
your body, your emotions, your history, your cultures, your contexts.

All of these parts of yourself contain great wisdom.

My work, in therapy and in supervision, is helping you remember, re-trust, and reintegrate what you already carry.

My approach

Body first, always

Sensation, breath, and movement are integrated into what we’ll do, opening doors that talking alone just doesn’t reach.

Culture and context included

Since your race, culture, identity, and history are in the therapy room with you, they’ll be part of our work together, too.

Support that grows with you

In therapy or in supervision both, we’ll explore building capacity instead of managing it.

The kanji character 身 (shin) means “body” and the character 心 (kokoro) means “heart, mind, spirit.” Both share the reading “shin”—hence “shin shin.”

In Japanese culture, mind and body have long been understood as one interconnected whole. Putting 身 (body) first reflects my therapeutic belief that the body is often where understanding and healing begin.
